The Nottingham Institute is a nonprofit organization devoted to education for life and practical spirituality. We are continual learners; education is not limited to schools or classrooms. Practical spirituality is a life focus, not a religion nor limited to organized churches.

Founder and President: Cheryl A. Chatfield, Ph.D. is an inspirational teacher, author and speaker. She was a high school English teacher and a public school administrator before spending 15 years owning and operating two stock brokerage firms. She currently runs The Nottingham Institute and teaches at Central Connecticut State University. Her name appears in Who's Who in the World, in the Financial Industry, in American Education, and in Emerging Leaders.
